we all enter this world and leave it again. Leaving is one of the greatest challenges in life for those who walk and those who stay behind. “Music for transition” takes on this topic and illustrates the transition with a very mediative music and room design.

music that 40 minute composition “music for transition” is gentle , harmonious, calm, unagitated, decoupled from the world. many musical events are not definitely notated, the music is mostly from the player based on approximate time- and assemble density information yourself. a soprano, eight string instruments, gongs, and gentle percussion create a calming, wide and rich sphere.
the music arises from a dynamic one, coded system and dissolves into something that can be freely designed via a suggestive text layer, also very reduced forms. which was treated quite freely and improvisationally, but still strictly coded starting system transcended, What remains is the free space and the essence of life - love. how this should be done - on the one hand musically, on the other hand scenic - should be part of the experimental rehearsal work and also take into account the personalities of the musicians.
the gesture is a joyful and contemplative detachment from our world, a peaceful being, a sometimes ecstatic indulging in memories and motifs and a smiling moving on of the pure spirit.
